  • Another Monday! Always my hardest day for food planning! Will fill in as I go.

    2 cups chocolate milk (s/f soy) - 2
    Summer sausage - 0

    Snack:
    String cheese - 1

    Lunch:
    Good Chef chicken fajita bowl (my new food item for the week - pretty good!) - 6
    Sugar free jello - 0

    Dinner:
    Chicken Marinara - 6

    Total - 15

    We'll see what else I can add in here for snacks.

    Poor man's lobster - 0
    Steamed snap peas - 5

    I didn't eat enough today. At least what I did eat was pretty good.

    1 oz cheddar

    Later on...

    1 roasted chicken breast

    scrambled eggs with 1/4 cup mozzarella
    1 cup broccoli, 1/2 cup tomato

    2 cups romaine w/ olive oil and vinegar

    That's it.

    Might have a snack before bed.

    *OK. After I thought I was done eating and totaled everything up for the day, I had a few minor incidents. I ate two Reese's peanut butter cups and had more coffee with lots of cream! So, my total for the day is probably closer to 40. Not going to let that happen again!

    Okay so I had a few meetings and did not exactly eat breakfast (altho I did bring a slice of lc bread and some cream cheese to work!).

    1 oz macadamia nuts (2)

    Lunch:
    chicken ceasar salad (no croutons) (5)

    Snack:
    2 cheese strings (.5)
    1 pepperoni stick (.5)
    =1

    Dinner:
    4 oz baked salmon
    1/2 c. brocoli (3)
    3 strawberries (3)
    1/2 c. plain yogurt w/1 packet splenda (5)
    =11

    Total: 21....and feeling sick...sore throat still hanging around and sinuses acting up - DD was home sick today with red tonsils the size of golf balls.....hope I don't have what she has!

    On a course all day tomorrow so need to pack suitable snacks!

    I'm wondering if I should try doing a 30 gram day just to shake things up a bit? Maybe 10 grams per meal? What do you think?

    Clam chowder - 6.5
    My own made up version of egg nog - 2

    Snack:
    Carb Sense ice cream bar - 7

    Revised total - 29.5

    Star - try it - go for more carbs - or add some calories - sometimes that does help get things moving - just be sure you don't overdo it...and that you can get back in control!
