Height & Shoe Size

I'm just curious... how tall are you and what size shoe do you wear?

I'm 5'10" tall and I wear a 7 1/2 shoe.....
(this explains why I'm so clumsy, I can trip over a needle).

My MIL is 4'11" maybe and wears a size 9 wide :yikes:

bella1 10-01-2003 02:32 PM

5'4" and size 8

LittleFreedom 10-01-2003 02:59 PM

5'5 and size 9.5 whomper stompers here! :p

PS Leens: what does MIL mean? And while I'm at it DH means? I have an idea about DH (dumb hubby) - but I don't want to offend any "smart" hubbies out there :p who knows maybe it means Dorky Hubby, Dingbat Hubby - Am I on track?????? :D

Tulip-Fairy 10-01-2003 03:37 PM

5 ft 5" and a size 7 (although Leenie thought I was a size 20 running shoe!!!) :)

Tulip-Fairy SIZE 3?????? Is that different than a size 3 here in the US? My neice is in 4th grade (age 8) and she wears a 3!

Leenie 10-01-2003 04:04 PM

Littlefreedom HAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!! I like your versions, you got a good sense of humor. You can call your hubby anything you'd like, we'll never tell :D

I like to call mine DHTH but no one would know what I was talking about (Darling Hot Stuff Hubby) :s: and he is too !!

fire stompers here

it's like my momma has always said, "i wear an 8, but a 9 feels so good, i buy a 10." i get tickled just thinking about her. truthfully, i usually wear a 10, sometimes a 9w. my feet are soooo wide from going barefooted all my life. my dd isn't from ms, but i've rubbed off on her. she loves going barefooted too. also, i'm 5'9". my dd, who is 4, just pointed out to me last week that we are twins--"we both wear 10s, mommy." she is too cute, if i do say so myself.

I win the biggest foot contest. 5'9" tall and a size 11 wide. Anyone ever fight with a drag queen over the last pair of good 3 inch spikes? Anyway, now that I've lost a few, I can fit in a ten, but the 11 still stays on the foot.

that's hilarious goodforme. my sides are still hurting. thanks for the chuckle.

I wear a 10 or a 9W also. My mom gave me some 11s though and I haven't had a problem keeping them on. I'm 5'7". In high school I was 5'8 1/2" but scoleosis (sp?) brought me down to 5'6". I gained an inch back by lifting weights a few years ago when I was on a tear to lose weight. I need to get back to the weights to gain some height and strengthen my bones. I found out a few years ago that I am osteopaedic.

I am 5' 6" and wear a size 9. I swear they are making shoes smaller because a couple years ago I wore a size 8. Any one elses feet still growing. Wouldn't you think they would stop I am 47 yr.

Pregnancy was fun for me, I already wore the biggest shoes you can readily find, and they were too tight. The hormones make the ligaments stretch and the foot can actually grow and not shrink back! Ugh.

Durian 10-01-2003 09:32 PM

I'm 5'4" and wear a size 5W.

Froufy 10-01-2003 11:23 PM

I'm 5'3" (on a good day)...and wear a 7.5 or 8 depends on make and comfort level!
