Default Fat fast

Hey all. I'm cross-posting from the general support but I thought this might have more luck here as well. I've been keto for about five months, though with ups and downs and lazy keto thrown in. I've lost about 25 pounds so far but I'm wondering this:

Has anyone here ever done a fat fast? And did you have luck with it? I'm stalling out in my weight loss and maybe getting a bit too complacent. I've read a fat fast can kick you back into Ketosis and help you drop water weight or break plateaus.

Just figured I'd ask! Hope you're all well!

The fat fast ends up letting you lose water. It does not help more than it cuts the cycle and you end up where you started .
You are almost at goal, Losing slowly and keeping to a constant plan will get you there and keep you there.

Yep, I've done the fat fast on my last round of Atkins pre-kids. Helped me break a 4 week plateau. I lost 4 pounds in 5 days and only put 1 pound back on when I went back to eating regular Atkins at the end of the fast. Highly recommended from me. Although I didn't use the recipe suggestions from the book. I had coffee with plenty of heavy cream for breakfast and lunch then 2 scrambled eggs made with butter and cream for dinner. Can't say it was the most exciting 5 days of my life food wise but it did its job and I was never hungry.

Hello everyone, for me the fast fat never did much for me so I started reading up on how to lose weight, I'm currently 165lbs and my height is 5'6 before I was 200lbs, so after a long search I found books that educated me on how to lose weight and eat healthier.

Hi, I am Katerina, I am 25 years old and I know what is needed for a thin waist.
First - steamed food
Second - sports, massage brushes
Third - favorite work
Fourth - a hot shower in the afternoon before meals
Fifth - a glass of fermented baked milk before bedtime
The most important thing is a lot of water

Congratulations on your weight loss progress. That’s truly amazing. Although I personally haven’t tried a fat fast, there have been reports of people finding success with it. This method can potentially jumpstart ketosis and overcome plateaus. It might be worth giving it a shot to see if it works for you. I wish you the best of luck for future success.
