I've been doing low calorie for almost two years now..and about 20, maybe 30 pounds more to lose.
I was scarred for life from atkins when i was younger, i went on it with my parents. They did it the wrong way and ate nothing but bacon, fatty meats and cheese. No healthy oils or veggies there.
But i did my research last night, and i realized that atkins is totally not what i thought. It's a perfect diet for me. (like i said, i went on it before. and i know it works.)
I'm starting it next week, once we have more grocery money and this weekend of partying is over. (mom's bday and halloween) lol
I'm pretty excited. :3
No more calorie counting! i can't wait to see how fast the pounds come off.

I'm in the same boat... just started Atkins again this week (on day 4 now). Last time I did it wrong. I ate mostly processed meats and string cheese, and no veggies. Now I'm doing it better... like I can eat an entire bag of romaine lettuce for about 3-4 net carbs. A whole bag! That's a good two salads per day, which is really healthy. Good luck!

Im starting my low carb diet tomorrow! I'm excited to see how I will handle this tremendous change in my diet. I never realized how many carbs I was consuming until I really sat down yesterday and just went over it. I'm under my 1200 calorie goal, but >60% of my daily intake for the last week has been carbs. I'm excited to change it up!
