It's just cabbage/carrots mayo, vinegar, salt & pepper. The mayo's not technically Paleo (it's prepared, I don't make my own) but I'm not worrying about it. Thanks - I have to update my pic with all 3 soon

Hi everyone!

Good day today:
B: berries, seeds and yoghurt
S: Coffee x 2 (tired!) and peach
L: Salmon fillet with spinach and watercress salad and 1/2 avocado
S: 2 plums + weeny bit of Green and Blacks Espresso 70% chocolate (yum!)
D: Tamarind beef stir fry, apple and peanut butter.

The food is yummy, I'd be surprised if I lost any weight doing this but I do feel a lot better so bonus!

Claire, keep this up and you really should lose weight AND feel better as a bonus...

Today:

1. egg, grnd flax seed, 4 prunes
2. peach, protein powder
3. Dr. Oz green drink, salmon, coleslaw, apple
4. Prime rib 4oz, 1/3 cup wild rice, salad, the rice is not Paleo but I just felt the need for it... the salad had cranberries probably with sugar in them but hey

Also, had a 50 min run this afternoon and tonight off to the gym
it's all good....

I've also lost 3 lbs this month :

Today:

B: Spinach omelette (3 eggs, no milk)
S: peach and coffee (white)
L: Salmon fillet, beetroot (got purple wee from that! Scary!), spinach and avocado, 3 plums, coffee
S: Stewed apples, melon, peanut butter, yoghurt and a few nuts on top
L: Chilli with a very small wholewheat tortilla (not paleo but I have leftover chilli and I couldn't find sweet potatoes in the shop, so it'll have to do), 25g dark chocolate.

Exercise: cycling to and from uni (45mins, with hills). I will start to do more formal exercise soon but i'm still finding my feet with the teacher training course. In October I'll join the gym/start running again

midwife Thanks! I love cooking but I'm on a limited budget and live on my own so I tend to eat the same things for days on end, see chilli incident! This is a recent thing (quit work to do teacher training and moved back to the UK away from the boyfriend to do so) so I'm still getting used to how much money I should be spending/how I can minimise waste! Fibre bars sound nice, wish we had those here!

Bit of an off day today (period is coming, face is greasy, fat day, chocolate cravings!)

B: berries, seeds and yoghurt
S: Peach and coffee
L: Beef stir fry, carrot and coriander soup, banana, dairy milk bar (whoops)
S: Herbal tea and 1/2 melon, loads of nuts (whoops again)
D: Miso soup (technically not Paleo) + spinach omelette, probably a bit more choc because that's the mood I'm in!

Exercise: 50mins cycling

Got a big weekend of hiking and having no control over my food (school trip), so I'll start again on Monday!

Hang in there Claire!

Yesterday I had the hungriest day ever, I ate way over 2000 cals, other than the chocolate I ate pretty well ...

Today so far so good...

1. egg
2. orange, protein powder
3. green drink and not sure yet what protein...

No running, no weights today just a relaxing pedicure ...

I'm feeling good!

But, ugh! I need to go to the store and the refrigerator repair guy just informed me that we need to turn off our refrigerator for 48 hrs so he can come fix the fan in the freezer. Sigh. But I just remembered we have DD's dorm size fridge! I'll just shop like French people do!! Paleo French people, that is!

So, I did have some more chocolate but I'm hoping that'll be the end of it. Just found out my first placement school is 13km away and the public transport is well expensive, so I am going to take my bike on the train and cycle back. Influenced by my cycle activist boyfriend, I'm embracing the paleo way for exercise too. Down with cars and up with using your body to get places. Wish me luck in the British rain!

Yesterday was good food wise, but I drank a bottle of wine throughout the evening I don't even get drunk, anymore on a bottle of wine when I sip it slowly within like 5-6 hours ... What a lush?? ... I certainly wouldn't drive though The scale was neutral this morning... I wonder why ... Today it's a gorgeous day... After work I will go biking to make up for my lack of exercise yesterday...
