Back from my weekend, at fair but not great. Had fries twice, and a roll......WOW ya know what, I am going to say I did WELL! No sugar crap, left that on the tables, no high processed crap, left that as well. Left the risotta on the plate, left the lemon cake, the yogurt and cereals, all the crap.
I did notice that after having a little wheat in the roll, and the starch from the fries I was immediatly conjested after each of those items!

Hey I'm glad to see this.
I've been eating Paleo for several weeks now. I really like it. My slip-ups were always related to carbs and cheese (I could live without sugar) and going Paleo has really made a difference.
I *feel* better. Sooo much better.

I have roast beef in the oven with onion and garlic. Went to have a nap and woke to the most glorious smell!

Hi everyone and welcome Sacha!
I have barely eaten today because all I had to take to work was a hunk of cheese and 2 hard boiled eggs. I did have coffee with cream for breakfast. I'm getting ready to make grass fed hamburger patties, which I'll eat with a salad.
Last week I started a bad habit (well, night eating has always been a habit for me, but not for this particular "dessert") -- whipped cream with dark chocolate chips. I need to stop eating that every night!
I'm not going to weigh for a couple days - TOM right now, a little bloated, plus the chocolate chips last week. I need to regroup just a bit.
Glad to hear everyone is having a primal day!

Back to work for me today. Into the bag go my hardboiled eggs. Don't leave home without them!

Today is my weigh-in day and I am seriously bummed. I had a perfect week and I am only down .6 A loss is a loss but stilll ONLY .6 I was hoping for at least 1.5 or 2. I suppose I can`t complain though...I`ve lost 9.8 lbs in 4 weeks. I did have coffee rather than tea last week so maybe my body didn`t like that...who knows.
Welcome Sacha! Dumb question...what is evoo.

I didn't eat until dinner last night. Pork roast! Haven't had that in years as always thought it was too fatty. It was so good.
But....I still do not weigh 159. Doesn't my body know how much these under xxx milestones mean to to me? When I fast again I will probably drop 2 pounds. But I really could use the one pounder today.
Damn..... maybe I should take a shower...lol
I usually weigh right when I get up and then have my coffee. I need my coffee. I cannot wait till after a shower.
Woe is me...

It's not dumb ... everytime I see "evoo" it reminds me of "voodoo" haha. But it stands for "extra virgin olive oil". CJ

Alright girls, I am about to come pay you a visit and steal your scales while you are in the shower!
Its just a silly number....a number that really says nothing about who YOU are! And when talking about 3-4 pounds it does not even guage your health! right? BUT it starts out your day on an up note or a down note....dependant upon that silly number. Give yourself a break. Know your plan, plug along, give yourself grace for special events or uncontrollable menus, and work your plan. In the BIG picture is where you will be rewarded with results, the every month, or even every 2 weeks. Plus measurements are a huge encouragement too, after all it is far more important that body mass (inches) is gone over a number on the scale that can be effected by water, salt, sleep, MSG, Vitamin D, hormones, stress, mechanical issues, etc.
OK OK getting off my soap box, hope none of you shoot me after you get out of your seventh shower and read this!
