You've lost over 80 pounds! Rejoice! Enjoy life. Oops. You didn't ask for advice. :)

Thank you everyone for the links, advice and the warm welcome! I am excited to get started. When other lc plans became popular I never considered them because I had always thought that eliminating fruits and veggies such as carrots seemed odd. When I found MDA, however, it all made so much sense. I look forward in sharing my journey with you all!

Hi everyone...I've been IFing since my husband is out of town and it really is not that bad! I'm definitely skipping breakfast from now on, but skipping dinner wasn't very hard last night....as long as I keep busy.

Anyway, I wanted to know if we could put together a list of primal meals/recipes that we could make into a stickie? Or to be honest this is something I'm hoping you guys could start because I don't know how to do much on these boards but post. Nothing elaborate.

I just think it would be helpful for us newbies if we could look at what some of you successful PB people eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Just a thought.....no worries if it's going to be too much work.

Daphne: Welcome....these people have a wealth of information and experience and they are super nice to boot!

Kara: Good luck on your vacation. You seem like a fiesty chick who can handle her own. If they don't read GC,BC throw it at em'. (hehe)

CJZee: I'm just so impressed with what you have already lost. Hang in there!

Susan: Never did comment on your hockey pic.....my husband still plays hockey and he's 52! He would be super impressed with you.....And I agree with the others, you ARE super tiny and cute!

BibBob: Love your comebacks! I am a terrible debater.....I get all flustered when confronted. Good for you for being so well informed and willing to stand up for yourself.

Kara (part2): You could always just eat the bacon and eggs and say, "I'm on vacation" and then brag to them all when you come home from vacation and have lost weight.

Well time to pack up my computer and head back home. Enjoying a cup of coffee with real cream here at Borders. This is my favorite place to be when I have free time.

Thank you! Thank you! everyone for your best wishes. I know your kind thoughts have helped, I'm pretty sure I've felt them in the airwaves ;). Anyway, I do feel better right now mentally and have done well today thus far. CJ

CJ- Your doing an awesome job!

I went running again today. Even though it was my second time out I have improoved since Mondays run. I did not have to stop & walk as much as I did on Monday & it was way hotter out today.

I stayed pretty much on track yesterday (I think) I made pea soup for dinner. I chopped up 1 potato for in it, so I only ended up having a few bites of potato yesterday. Lunch was a salad & fruit. Today I had left over pea soup & DS was hungry for a steak after our run. I chopped up some stuff for a salad but I was full after eating just the steak. If I get hungry later I will make a salad. I am waiting for it to cool off a little bit so I can go hop in the hot tub to help relax my muscles after the run.

I very much agree with this ... I just think it would be helpful for us newbies if we could look at what some of the PB people eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Truth or dare ... how many times have you been asked if you eat raw meat?
Me? A few!

And have I mentioned lately that I love you people

Daphne ... I grossly understood what low carb meant too. Even when I was eating boiled chicken breast and salad greens :?:

OhOh I have the munchies! I'm a little hungry but not really. I know I dont need to eat right now. Its one of thoses munchie feelings that would not be a good choose of food. I hope I can over come it.

Hi,

This is just a crummy drive-by post. Having a family emergency here. I have actually stayed 100% primal so far. Best wishes to all!
