Down to 165, but I have two issues.

1. First isn't really a problem, at least not in my mind. Cheated a little yesterday. DH's birthday. Got a japanese cake (lower in sugar with a whipped topping and fresh fruit) and had one tiny slice. Probably blew my entire's day worth of carbs (if not more) in that single slice. DD's birthday is in a few weeks and I'm going to have the same dilemma...

The funny thing is, after having almost no sugar at all (other than some naturally occuring ones) since May, the japanese cake, which I previously thought to be very light (especially compared to the american bakery or making one at home) was almost too sweet for me. Wierd how our tastebuds change.

Oddly I'm not feeling too terribly guilty over it because I know it's a once a year thing and the only way another cake is getting in our house is birthdays...and there are 3 of us. I don't think 3 small slices of cake a year are going to totally ruin me, just have to make sure I don't make excuses to eat it at any other time. Oh...and I did NOT have ice cream with it like DD and DH did. ;)

The other problem, which is really a problem, is I did something yesterday while out grocery shopping. Was walking along and all of a sudden felt a wrenching in my left knee.

It hurts to stand, it hurts to walk, it hurts to bend it or keep it straight, and it is sensitive (painful) to the touch just under the kneecap on the inner side. It isn't swollen though, or at least not enough to tell, and there is no fluid buildup.

I'm debating going to the UC clinic instead of waiting to make a doc appt. on Monday...as the doc appt. means I could be seen then or 2 weeks later, depending on their schedule and how urgent they think my pain is.

The biggest problem for me is the fact that I can't exercise with my knee like this. *sigh*

Has anyone ever dealt with this kind of pain before?
