Low Carb Cheesecake tastes really GOOD!

hey ladies and gents. i made this over the weekend and it was sooooooooo good. i served it to my guy and he had no clue it was low carb or low calorie. i swear it tastes just like the real thing. try the recipe and let me know what you think!

I can't post links yet, but if you Google LoveMyPhilly and hit the cheesecake tab you'll be able to fine the recipe. It's called the
Philadelphia New York Style Carb Counter Cheesecake

I made a chocolate cheesecake the other day but instead of using the giant baking dish I used those mini cupcake shells. I gave one to my friend and she was shocked that it was low carb because it taste soooo good!!!

Out of curiousity, I checked out the "low carb" cheesecake on the LoveMyPhilly website: http://snagwiremedia.com/lovemyphilly/cheesecake/
One serving contains 12 carbs. The recipe contains almonds, a combination of 1/3 less fat cream cheese & regular cream cheese, as well as a combination of sugar & sugar substitute (although..they do tell you can skip the sugar & use Splenda). While I'm sure this is very good, just a reminder, this is NOT an Atkins Induction friendly recipe.

For an Induction friendly cheesecake, this one from Linda's Low Carb recipes is a good one & only 2 net carbs per serving!!:)

George Stella also has a great cheesecake recipe however, due to the ricotta cheese, its also NOT Induction friendly. It contains 7 net carbs per serving:

...um, nobody else suspects MightyAphrodite of being a marketing person for Philadelphia? ijs. One post at 3FC, and it's linked with a product-specific recipe on an official website to promote that product...I'm guessing that avoidance of such stuff is PRECISELY the reason one isn't allowed to post a link until one's earned a little social currency...

Apologies if I'm off base, but I've seen that stuff happen FAR too many times online. It pisses me off.

Randomness: Linda's Low carb website is my fav site to go to when I need knew recipes.
