Low Carb Products
Hi All,
I just wanted to know what low carb products you have found at your local supermarket. I only have WalMart and Publix here. Here's what I have found and it may help you to look in your stores for the same thing: Breyers Carb Saver Chocolate bars Smuckers Sugar Free Syrup (1 carb) Sugar alcohol - Soribtol Del Monte Carb Saver or Sugar Free Peaches (6Carbs) Hood Calorie Countdown Milk (3Carbs) Choc milk (5carbs) SOOOO Goooodd:carrot: |
Blue Diamond unsweetened vanilla almond milk (1 net carb per cup!) and unsweetened chocolate (2 net carbs per cup!).

I think Josephs pita bread is only found in the Northeastern US...but I can get them in my local supermarket. When I get to the later stages of OWL, or at Maintenance, I may add them back. ONE pita is 8g total carbs with 4 grams of fiber (for a net carb count of 4!). They're fantastic! 1/2 of one makes a good sandwich, a whole one makes a good "pita pizza", and they're good with some peanut butter spread on them. I don't have any around right now, as I'm on Atkins Induction, but I find them near the deli section of my supermarkets :)

BTW if you need to have a bowel movement, a couple pieces of Hershey's sugar free candies should do the trick :o
I do love the Bryers low carb Vanilla ice cream with some diet root beer I also make use of the low carb tortillas, the brand I get are 3 carbs each. I buy grilled chicken strips as the meat. Also when I am on maintenance I love Natures Own double fiber bread, tastes great and only 8 carbs per slice. |
Shannan WOW you have done great!!! Look at your stats! WHOO HOO!!
