Good Morning Ladies
I got up early today, couldn't sleep,as we had a few mice running around the living room.My DH put up the traps and hopefully that they'll gone.
Start to get back to serious low carbing
b-turkey bacon & cheddar cheese on Rev Roll[atkins roll made of egg, cheese & spices],soy milk
br-bacon & scrambled eggs with dec coffee & H&H
d-stuffed pepper with veggies on the side.
Hope this time I don't get sidetrack by other illness or food poisoning.
LILY-You know that the South Beach is on the 3 fat chicks forum and they have a list of foods that are allowed & to avoid,so they must have a maintenance list over there also. I never got that far. It is a healthy diet, but I had to stop as I was putting to many good carbs back and I gained. Atkins you add carbs 5 at a time & I find it easier to control. You'll do just fine.Heres to your secret goal.
AUD-We all have bad days, like you dust yourself off and start again. I starting again this morning. I had a terrible time after the food poisoning. I ate all the wrong foods. I was lucky that I lost 1 lb during W-I. We are here for you, post anytime, and one of us will be there to support you.
AZURE-Oh gee!! Can't believe your mom, accused you of your sister misunderstanding. I guess she must have been worried sick, and being able to have you sister at home. I would have done the same thing you did. I have good size pizza. Hope we all can get[mice in my livingroom],started again today of the right foot back to low carbing & weight loss.
Have to go,will post later
Hugs BB

How's everyone doing this morning? Everyone starting off okay with their woe, I know you can do it!
I mentioned in another post that I went out last night with my husband and a sister and anothe sister with her boyfriend to Karaoke. It was fun, it was a small group of people there. Anyway, everyone was drinking beer, and as much as I wanted one, I didn't drink. I was so happy with myself that I didn't endulge.
I ate there too and had a cheese burger with bacon, no bun. So I stayed on plan. Then my sisters came back to my house and continued to Karaoke their and they continued drinking, but I still didn't drink.
Finally everyone left around 11pm and I couldn't sleep so I stayed up for awhile, then tried to go to sleep. I woke back up around 12am and was feeling hungry, so I ate 2 lc sf ice cream bars.
I weighed myself this morning and didn't gain or lose. So I'm pretty happy about that.
I feel that losing this weight is more important than getting buzzed!
Then next weekend we're doing an all day bbq, my family was talking about getting a keg. I'm going to need alot of strength to not want to drink.
I told them last night, that I've come to far to go back. Then my sisters' boyfriend, who is a certified nutritionist, said that it's okay to cheat on you "diet" every two weeks because when you start back up it causes you to lose weight again.
Does that sound right to anyone. I told him that I never heard that before!
Who knows?
Well, you Ladies have a great day, and remember, It's not what we did yesterday, last week or an hour ago, we can still get back on track and keep losing weight!!!
Have a great Day!!!

BB, thanks, I did finally find my list of induction foods in the book. This after having had a bowl of total Oat Bran flakes with skim milk for brekkie. Oh well, I'll try to stick 100% from here out.
Diana, glad you had fun at Karaoke. We do Karaoke every Thurs. night. I'm overcoming my shyness some and sing to my heart's content. LOL. Also, great job on passing on the beer. I don't drink at all, but the temptation is all around me.
BB, hope you get rid of the mice. I got a cat for that purpose, but he gets fed too well and is usually too lazy to get a mouse. LOL.

eeeeww.. mice. I have cats too but I dont think they could catch a mouse if thier lives depended on it. My nieghbor built a composter right up against the fence next to my house and there are always mice running around out there. luckily I've only found one in the house so far.
fit, the boyfriend is probably right if your on a traditional diet, with atkins it might take longer to recover. for me if I cheat it always turns into a cheat weekend or cheat week, I have so much trouble getting back on track. but I think for some people having a cheat meal or treat might not be so bad.
I'm back in the "zone" YaY. hope your all having a nice long weekend!

Hi everybody. I haven't been around for a few days -- off binging on sugar-free candy instead. And I LOST four pounds! Go figure! Back on the straight and narrow, starting tonight. Tomorrow will be my first day back at the gym in over a week. No twinges from the back in 3 days. I'll start back really slowly. I think not going to the gym contributed to the binge.
I think another part of my problem was that I'm bored with my food. I need to vary it more. Need some recipes for boneless, skinless chicken breast that don't taste like sawdust, with the texture of manilla rope. I'll go check out Linda's Low Carb site.
Diana, I'm soooooo glad you're back! I worried about you when you left. Lily, sounds like there may be some light at the end of that tunnel. Do you have any idea what might have happened to your jewelry?
Missed y'all, staying away seems to be a great way to court trouble....

Wow, that's encouraging Shellie, I bet you didn't expect that huh!LOL What a great surprise to see those sticks turn that color.
Congrats on the weight loss, as long as it's 4 lbs gone forever, that's all that matters right!

Diana, my 21 yr. old son is an awesome singer and we do duets together quite a bit. He isn't shy at all and he always announces he is singing with his mom. LOL, the crowd loves it. When it isn't very crowded, I sing a couple of singles by myself. The more relaxed I am, the better I sing. But, since I can't drink, it's hard to get very relaxed. We have a home Karaoke machine that we all love to play around on.
Shellie, glad to see you're back from the SF candy binges. I used to eat those by the bag full. Unfortunately they did cause me to gain so I had to give em up. As for my jewelry, I don't know where it is, the last time I saw my rings they were in my purse and we were at the lake in our boat. They may be at bottom of Kerr Lake.
