I wouldn't think it would have anything in it that would hamper low carbing. I vouch for something Dr. Atkins describes in the book from the experience I had before (followed Atkins for a year and lost about 65 pounds, kept it off 3 years and regained -- now I am here trying it again). After you have been on this for a week or 2 your appetite will dramatically drop on it's own as a result of the ketosis. I remember having to remind myself to eat....too bad that didn't stay with me when I fell off the low carb wagon!
