I am currently doing atkins. And recently i got a prescription for phentermine. A diet pill. My granmother has been taking it for some time also. I tried searching online for the ingredients in it. Do u know if there is anything in an appetite supressor that would ruin my low carb diet?

I wouldn't think it would have anything in it that would hamper low carbing. I vouch for something Dr. Atkins describes in the book from the experience I had before (followed Atkins for a year and lost about 65 pounds, kept it off 3 years and regained -- now I am here trying it again). After you have been on this for a week or 2 your appetite will dramatically drop on it's own as a result of the ketosis. I remember having to remind myself to eat....too bad that didn't stay with me when I fell off the low carb wagon!
