Caffeine & Fish Oil
Hello Everyone,
I am just starting Atkins, on 2nd day if induction and have been able to stick with it though those cravings are incredibly hard. I really miss my fruit and milk! Two questions: I suffer from migraines but have gotten them under control the last 2 years and of course that is what I am suffering from the most right now, have been taking tylenol which helps but I would love to take some Excedrin which has caffeine in it. Can I take this? I know in the book it says no reg coffee but that you can have decaf so not sure if its tha caffeine that I should not have any of. Also in the book it talks about how important fish is and of course I dislike all and any fish but it said to then take a fish oil supplement just wondering if this is going to be a benefit, I just want to make sure I do all I can to make this work! I have gotten lots of good info just reading through all your posts!! What a great place, glad I have found you!! Kelly |
Kelly, Id go ahead and take it.
I havent cut out coffee or teas at all, and have been very successful with this way of eating. |
Thanks Robin!!
I did take it and feel 100% better!!! Kelly |

I love fish! But......I hate the fish oil caplets :barf: They are just nasty!! There is nothing I hate more, than taking one of those things, then burbing the nasty stuff all day.
The reason for taking the fish oil caplets is for the omega 3 fatty acids. I would suggest you take flax seed oil caplets instead. No burbing fish taste! :snooty: You still get the essential healthy oils  |
i will just take them at night with the rest of my vitamins, that way i will be asleep and wont notice.
