Newbie here not new to the yo-yo

Hi, New here. Hoping to find someone to buddy up with for friendship and support. I feel like my friends try to sabatoge my diet...and it doeshappen. I have yo yo dieted for at least 10 years of my life. I am 31 years old, female, from Ohio and Diabetic since I was 15 years old, insulin dependant.
I am just not sure where to start anymore....

Any new diets? Any ideas?

Hi Cosmo (love the name!)

I just wanted to extend a hearty :welcome3: to you, and encourage you to visit, read and post often. This site has played a huge part in my weight-loss journey, and I really think sometimes that I most likely wouldn't have gotten this far without the support and companionship of these wonderful people.

(This is my long-winded way of saying "good luck", by the way!)

Hello There!

I am new here as well. I was in a check out line and I saw the magazine "FIRST" and it said, "DROP 43 LBS BEFORE CHRISTAMS".... So, I got the magazine and found this web site and now your message and I thought, "what a perfect way to start by replying to you."
I am from Idaho and I am 38 and I am fat. I was thin most of my life then after 3 kids and not doing the right thing, I gained my weight. I love the heathy food. I hate the measuring. I work alot and I just don't have time to do all the extra work it all involves. I know, I know, call me lazy...
I would like to share meal ideas and things to do different in my life when it comes to working out. I did buy the Windsor Pilates and I have to say, I enjoyed it very much... Ok, Ok, so I only did the 10 minute work out all but one time but I am wanting very much to get into it every day. I either need motivated or take the 20 minutes out of my life to do it.... I know I have that 20 minutes.......... I just have to find them....
Well, I hope to hear from you soon. Or anyone else for that matter.

Michelle

Can you tell us a little more about this article detailing how you lose 43 pounds by Christmas? Is that even possible? I can see maybe losing 20 pounds at 10 pounds per month, but 43? Wow! Are you following this diet plan?

Hi cosmokremer31 (I  Kramer from Seinfeld, too!!!)

I wanna say :wel3fc: as well!!

I don't really keep up on the "new diets" - calorie counting and exercise has worked well for me...I guess I'm old school. :D There is also a forum for Dieting with Obstacles there should be all kindsa chicks in there with helpful info on diabetes and insulin dependance for ya.

I highly recommend checking out all the forums - don't be shy!! Everyone here is really helpful and supportive. We've all done the yo-yo thing - you are not alone!!
