So yesterday more than made up for my bad day on Monday. I am at about a 647 defecit for the week. Just need to keep it up.

Valerie, Donna & Stephie - nice deficits!
Deficit of 619 for me yesterday, once again feeling pretty good about that. Ate a lot of veggies for dinner last couple nights and it filled me enough I wasn't very high in calories. Of course, I didn't do my upper body weights like I was supposed to, have been very worn out from so much school and work lately, just 2 & 1/2 more weeks of it and I'll have some more time. Legs still hurt from lower body weights on Sunday so that must have been a good work-out! Take care, ladies. |

I was sound asleep when you were posting Miles :) But this morning I not only have a good deficit for yesterday to announce (about 1000 cals) I've also lost a pound. Oh that yard work!

as for me I had a deficit yesterday of 698...planing on going to the gym again tonight...wish me luck that I can get off work on time to go.. Have a great low calorie / high deficit day |
Had about a 366 deficit for yesterday which brings me to about 1013 for the week. I count my weeks from Sun to Monday so I still have some work to put in.

Valerie hang in there it is trial and error i've done bad for days and then great on others i find keeping a food journal helps me alot im not into the fit day im more of a writting it down kinda gal but which ever works for you maybe try both then you know where your high cal's are coming from and try to replace that item for a low cal one ,,, im sure you know all this..LOL im just throwing my 2 cents in

yesterdays deficit was 560...I didn't make it to the gym either...I have 3 days left now to make it 2 more days...kinda pushing it....where has the week gone....time is just flying by..

Donna - you are right where did the week go? Deficit of a mere 256 yesterday. Had quite the appetite in the evening I guess and my daytimes still aren't sorted out as well as I'd like them to be. Missed out on the exercse too. Was trying to get some sleep, but the plumbing got all messed up and dirty water overflowed into our bathtubs so spent most of the night waiting up for the plumber to show up. Of course he never did so we gave up and slept later anyways, I think he fixed it during the night at least. *yawn* Now to make it through another day! |
Hi everyone. I worked out at curves today and had a 1263 deficit. It's amazing how much better I do on my days off work! When I'm tired from working I just eat so much more!

I had a deficit of 1224 today. Yesterday I went to a street festival and didn't do so well. No deficit I actually had 300 calories over my base. Whats the opposite of deficit? I found out that the club I go to (womens work out world) is closing. I have two weeks to find a new gym and the only one I know about is Bally's which I don't like very much. |
Morning all! Here I am. Again! I fell off the wagon with a huge thump last week. No gym, ate like crap. Lost half a lb. I'm not ever going to understand my body. I'm putting this down to the rock concert I saw last Sunday (much dancing) and the painting of the spare room this Saturday (shoulders feel like I've done 200 pull ups). Still, we have scale change! I've been bouncing between 173 and 176 for months so when the scale said 172.4 this morning, I was taking it!
Deficit yesterday somewhere around 500. I fell face first into the cheese again and there might have been a little bit of chocolate in there too. Bad lynne bad! Mondays, ugh! So busy will try catch up later have a great day all. |
Valerie - nice deficits! I'm sorry about your gym, but I am sure you will find something. I know in my area there are lots of women-only gyms, just not very well known.
Lynne - glad to have you back! Way to go on the loss, sounds like you deserve it. Friday and Saturday had pretty much 0 deficits and no exercise. Just did not eat well and little to no self control. Yesterday wasn't much better on the eating front but I didn't *keep* eating and I did manage to do upper body weights for a little over an hour so I feel really good about that, therefore deficit of about 214. My fiancee was even making fun of my "little biceps." He is always telling me I am stronger/more muscular than him, but I knew when he was mocking my little biceps that he really meant it instead of just being hard on himself. Hey, I don't care if they are little, as long as they are there! |

I hope everyone is doing well! I had a good day today with 1077 deficit. I worked out at curves and did 3 1/2 times around the circuit. I also went for a 1/2 hour walk outside :carrot: |
well I had a deficit for last week of 5280 but I didn't lose anything...oh well I'll try hard again this week...deficit yesterday was 957...didn't get in any exercise but I did alot of hard cleaning at work for 2 hours....will try to get to the gym tonight...

That's a great deficit for the week Donna, sorry you didn't lose anything but still you should be very proud of yourself for such a great deficit.
My deficit yesterday was 300, no cheese but I did finish off the chocolate. I've signed up for my very first spinning class at the gym Thursday morning, I'm looking forward to trying something new. |
Woosh, I've been MIA. Have been back on track for almost a week now. I did overdo late last night.
Any calorie counters left around here? If 3000 calories = a pound, shouldn't a deficit of 5000 be almost 2 lbs? Something is not adding up. |
3500 calories = 1 lb therefore 7000 calories = 2lb.

Oh how often I've wished that weight came off in a nice logical line like that! But it doesn't ... oh well, on average and over time, it does but not just 3500 cals gone -boop- one pound gone.
wndranne has written a wonderful thread too about watching her weight fluctuate over time. There are so many factors afoot ... hormones, fluids, heat, salt ... We need to remember that there are other factors that can fool us into thinking that things aren't working right. But they are. Knowledge is power, in weight loss too. |

Susan I agree that there are many factors thats why I'm not stressing the no loss...also today when I weighed I'm down 2lbs from monday so I'm betting it was fluid along with sore muscles...

PC died at work yesterday so did not get around to posting here, must have forgotten about it in the evening. Anyways, Sunday a 0 deficit day anyways, just went a *little* overboard with some brownies that otherwise would have been a deficit. Yesterday much better, deficit of 812. Ate okay (probably not enough, but there just wasn't much to eat so I gave up after some couscous and peas for dinner). I stole a few of my fiance's toblerone's (chocolate) but still stayed under, and was even amazed to see Fitday had toblerone! Was nice to have a deficit, AND get to log my chocolate the *right* way. |
Morning all! Well I would have had a splendid 1000 deficit yesterday but we went to eat dinner at my fave mexican restaurant last night and it was buffet night so, oops.
Anyway. I took my first spinning class this morning and what fun that was. 60 minutes of mad pedelling on a bicycle seat that was about as comfy as sitting on razorblades. I'm going again on Tuesday but not before I swing by my nearest Target and pick up a gel padded cover for the seat. Hope everyone has a good one today. |
I only got five of those windows done. Maybe if I'd done the last two I'd have a better deficit.

Lynne - wow, nice on the cycling! Can't always have a good food day, but I'm sure the exercise feels great.
Susan - hope it doesn't go so bad! And at least you got *most* of the windows :D Deficit of 580 for me yesterday. Cupboards are getting bare again, had pancakes and eggs for dinner and haven't had real veggies in a few days now, who woulda thought I would miss them? Our DDR (Dance-Dance-Revolution) for PS2 arrived yesterday. We've had it on our PCs before, but now both my fiancee and I could both dance to the same song at the same time. Also, the version we got had "work-out" mode which was kinda neat, you could set a goal for burning calories and just keep dancing until you met it. Both of us worked up quite the sweat with that one, so feeling pretty good today. Now just got to keep it up and hope he keeps it up too. |
My Mom got a big bag of blueberries while I was there. We munched! I haven't done my fitday but I don't think I've had any protein since breakfast!

Susan-get to work and finish those windows...lol you sound like me...I've been painting my kitchen cabinets fo over a year now and still not finished deficit for yesterday was 616...Had a good day till that night when my friend talked me into eating ice cream ...bad me...and it really wasn't that good...I know better next time...but at least I still had a deficit |

Deficit yesterday of 800 which I'm happy with. I know what you mean about painting Donna, I've got to finish our spare room Saturday, we put the undercoat on last week. Circuit training at the gym this morning and I felt every single lunge after yesterday's spinning class. My muscles just at the side of my hips/towards the back of my butt are sore today! T.G.I.F although my weekend is going to be super busy :(. |

Hi ALL!! It's been sooooo long since I've posted. I have been so very busy with a P/T summer job. I am exhausted every nite when I get home. Why is it that when you work so hard and are so tired all you want to do is eat and fahgetabout the exercise!! I am working in a garden center/pet store that is very busy. Thank God it's only 3 days a week!! I did a Leslie Sansone mile the other day. I can't believe in a month's time how out of shape I got-even though I'm on the run for 8 hrs a day! I have made a promise to myself to get back on track and get back to my WW meeting this week and get my butt back into the habit of exercising every day. I have a hard time in the AM anymore doing the exercises cuz I have to take DH to work at 7AM (15 minutes away) and then turn around and come back home and go to work at 9 AM. We only have one vehicle and one motorcycle. DH loves to drive the bike to work but this summer has been totally rainy here almost everyday we have some sort of showers or rain!!! AGGGGHHHH!!! It is very frustrating. Can't exercise in AM if I have to take DH to work. Guess I'd better stop feeling sorry for meself and get back at it and stop goofing off! I've gained 3 pounds in a month by not exercising and not counting calories on fitday. No one to blame but ME!!! Well take care all. Hope to be back more often. Hi Dawn! That part time job is what we call a life change and yes it certainly has an effect on your energy levels, diet etc. Hang in! Three pounds is a very fixable amount! My niece made a lovely bride yesterday, her fellow made a sweet cute groom and the ladies of their church made an awesome lunch ;) Oh well! We danced a bit and I'm off to work so ... stuff happens, I'll get back to basics soon. |
