Online tool that Calculate Total Nutrients in Homemade food????
So I have been trying to find one of these threads I saw a while back that allows you calculate total nutrients of homemade food, buy entering measurements, and so forth. I found it on here a while back and can no longer find it.:?:

I think you can do that at nutritiondata.com.

I find it easiest to use software such as Mastercook. I enter all of my recipes in it and get up to date nutrition per serving, and it's really easy to tweak until I like the results. I've tried a lot of other programs, but love Mastercook the most. The latest version (9) costs $18.99 but versions 7 and 8 are still out there and usually cost less than 10 bucks.

You can do this at http://www.fitwatch.com/ (both the free version and the deluxe have this feature). I used it for a while. It was pretty easy to use but they have a lot of pop-up ads so I stopped using them. If you have a good pop-up blocker (I was have a number of computer problems at the time so my pop-up blocker was not as effective as it should have been) I think it would be fine.
Now I use a spreadsheet I created where I enter the ingredients and their individual nutritional info. But this does get tedious because I have to look every ingredient up every time I figure out a new recipe. - Barbara |
I use nutritiondata.com also. If they don't have a food listed that you need you can use the nutrtion label and add in a custom food.
