Question Exercise Calories

Got a quick question...I was confused as to what to do last Thursday, so here was my problem: For a defecit of 1000 a day I stick to no more than 2000 calories each day - but on Thurs. I went swimming for nearly 2 hours and that is said to burn 600-1400 for me for that time...so even say it was 1000...does that mean I should have 3000 cals to make up for the 1000 exercise cals, or what? It seems like eating 3000 on any day is wrong now, but with burning so much on the random days I will swim, should I go higher than 2000? Even to 2500 instead of 3000, or is 3000 right? Input appreciated - TIA.

The whole idea is to eat less than you use. If you feel good and are able to do all the things you need to do and exercise .... you don't need to eat to make up for anything.

And as for high days and low days .... it's the averages that work for you. As long as 'over time' you use more calories than you take in, you'll lose. Lots of gals zigzag their intake 1700 one day, 1500 the next ... and certainly almost all of us use more calories somedays than others.

I agree..it is not really what you do in one day it is what you do over 7 days.. that makes or breaks a loss..or how much if any.. you need to see if you need to use it.. if you still feel hungry and need it use it.. I try not to count my exercise ..unless I feel i really need it.. I do a 25 min video.. well hope it works for you..Kim
