Some people cook for the week on the weekend. For me, I buy things that are easy to grab and eat any time precooked. For instance you can buy pre-cooked chicken or pre-cooked ham at the grocery store. I bought a wonderful ham that has already been sliced. It was "spiral cut". It is smoked so it lasts a long time without going bad. I can keep it in my fridge for a week and a half and it is still good to eat, I just grab a slice off of it when hungry and don't have to cook just then. Lettuce, tomatoes and salad makings are easy to throw together too, and you can put some of that ham or chicken and cheese on it without it taking very long.
Anything can be done. It isn't alway a lot of work. It depends on how you look at it and what kind of planning you do in advance. Stress will definitely slow down your weight loss though. Cortisol is the stress hormone our body's produce and that can cause you to hang onto extra fat. I suggest you spend some time making lists, figure out what you can do to reduce the stress in your life. Either limit the kid's activities or plan your schedule out better. Living with constant stress will prevent weight loss to some extent. Find a way to let go of some of it. Sometimes our circumstances cause stressful situations that we can't do a lot about, but how we choose to deal with it, how much we let it upset us etc, we CAN do something about. One way of doing that is by becoming someone who prays. Anything you can't handle leave in His hands, it makes an amazing amount of difference in how we face life.
