When I deprive myself I end up binging. I admire anyone who can omit sweets and such completely from their diet and not feel the effects, however, I'm not one of those people so I live with it and deal with it. I eat what I want but I do it in moderation and count it. I've been told in the past that once you've been away from sweets long enough you don't even like it when you finally have it. Nope - not me! Yeah, I might find something REALLY rich but not like it? I don't think so.
DH sent me an email from work the other day. It made me giggle so I thought I would share....
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
CONCLUSION
Eat and drink what you like.
Speaking English is apparently what kills you.
