rysmommy? why do you find that confusing. We'll try to help you sort it out.

Happywife? I'm a detail nut. I just like to have all my ducks in a row. Goofy, I know. It's just what works for me. However ... I have seen dieters drive themselves nutty and straight to the fridge over details just like this one.

Editted to say .... when I posted, Carrie's post was there too. She makes a really important note. Confusion will get ya! If you're just starting out ... it doesn't matter if you fitday is accurate or not. What matters is that you move more and eat less. Don't let the intricacies get you demotivated right off the top!

okay well here's my question why on some ppl's fitday are they putting sleep under activities for like 8 hrs? I was just wondering if were suppost to do this? just curious! :p

Sure, if you put in an activity level, fitday seems to assume you are that active 24 hours a day. So if you add sleep time, it subtracts some of those caloreis burned because sleeping is less 'using' than your activity level.
