I am a big nightime snacker/eater. I try and eat as little as I can throughout the day so that i will be able to eat a lot for dinner. I think the main reason for that is that I am busy during the day, and then I get home and have nothing to do, and am surrounded by food and suddenly I am super hungry. I know I am going to eat a lot around dinnertime, so I try and plan for it, because I will do it no matter how much I eat during the day.

I am unfortunately a night snacker also, but tonight I ate at Red Lobster (I ate grilled things, though I did have two or three chicken fingers) and saved half of each my appetizer and my main course for tomorrow and Sunday (tomorrow is my cousin's wedding). I am a night snacker when I watch movies or when I am bored. This is why I try to eat dinner before watching TV or I load up, but sometimes, schoolwork stresses me out and I just take a lot of food and munch in front of the computer/TV, hence I gained two of my lost pounds. I control it on weekends though, or when I am not under stress.

Hope you don't mind my popping in on this. My dinner calorie total is the biggest of the day. Also, I used to be afraid that eating too close to bedtime would make me lose slower, but I found that I sleep so much better if I save a (healthy) snack for around 9pm. Whatever works, go for it!

I agree with the other ladies I usually eat 50-60% of my calories at dinner. I also try to not snack after dinner. When I start eating I have a hard time stopping. Because of that I stick to a pretty traditional eating plan. And for some reason if I eat before bed I wake up just dying of hunger. If I don't eat than I am fine in the morning (maybe my stomache shrinks:crossed: )
