Just food or net calories
Hello calorie counters,
I have been at a plateau for about a month. I am wondering if you do your calorie counting solely focused on consumption or based on net calories as a combination of intake and physical activity. I have been eating 1200 calories for a while but wondering if my body has just sort of adapted based on my daily amount of cardio and if it is time switch up diet or activity. I had been doing a decreased amount of any food but not really changing my diet. Should I just increase raw foods or activity or a combination? |
I have never had it work out well particularly when using the fitness indicators in MFP - Now using cronometer AND a Garmin logger which I wear pretty much 24/7 and using base with zero exercise + activity calories has been reasonably accurate. I think the more overweight you are the more skewed those figures are. ......... My own experience has been diet is the way to lose it. I was between 1000 and 1200 calories for my entire journey. Pleateaus happen and if you stick with it and wait it out it WILL resolve.
