Calories 09/7/15: 1680
Exercise: 8,100+ steps; 15 min. calisthenics |
Feeling good about yesterday's calorie level (1680, posted above), which signaled the successful kickoff of a fun little personal calorie challenge I am doing for the rest of September to eat in the 1600s or below. Today is Day 2. I won't be posting about this again as the daily numbers will speak for themselves.

Exercise: 5,000+ steps; 15 min. calisthenics; 15 min. weights Went over my calorie challenge but will just keep going. |
Dropping the idea of a September challenge limited to 1600 cals, just going to slog on as best I can. Was unwell yesterday and earlier today (better tonight) very stressed about some things and all that angst manifested itself as, you guessed it, excess calories. Nevertheless, the intent to reach my goal is stronger than ever and sooner or later, when least expected it will manifest itself. In the meantime, getting the cals lower is the focus.

"...just going to slog on as best I can."
The idea is to get going. Can always add a little pressure later, when less stressed. |
Thanks, Aria!
Funny, I thought I responded to your post yesterday, but I guess I didn't. Your support, as always, is appreciated. Quote:

Victory Dance
A little victory today on the scale front, although Sunday (tomorrow) is my official weekly weigh-in and this might not hold so not changing ticker just yet ... DOWN 2.4 from last Sunday to 133.6; whether it holds or not, I'm dancing with joy and whether or not it is mentally healthy to let the scale rule my mood, my mood is VERY HAPPY. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D |

This fresh start, well, wasn't. Today am at 2.4 pounds up from last Sunday to 136.8, cals yesterday were at 2040, exercise under 5,000 steps.
Am I discouraged, NOPE. I know the drill. Things have been tough for me in life and in my classes for a while now and I'm not getting enough walking time, not lifting enough weights and ergo, the comfy calorie range I've been at is JUST NOT DOING IT. So the first thing that has to level off is the cal count. I'm declaring yet another SORT OF LOOSELY ENFORCED personal cal challenge that, because Halloween season and the glorious days of late September and month of October are my most powerful and energetic time when my inner witchiepoo comes out to play, I am calling THE SEASON OF THE WITCH. As always, there will be no deprivation here in my little witch world, and yea, I know I break all my challenge rules sooner or later, but it is still fun to have a go at it. So during this season, the highly breakable and totally non enforceable but I'll just be playing with it WITCH RULES are that during this time, I will eat less than 2000 calories but WE KNOW we need to stay WAY lower than that most days so the rule is to try to do that but don't get bothered or stressed if I don't. PLUS, SATURDAYS WILL BE MY OFFICIAL WEEKLY WEIGH-IN and 3FC ticker changing time throughout the challenge, with the final one being on Halloween, October 31 (it's a Saturday). As always, I will also personally stick with my habit of weighing daily and logging that privately. Might share any good weigh-ins that come my weigh. That's it. I will succeed. Somebody once said "when the going gets tough the tough get going" (attributed to various sources, but the most credible, in my opinion, is football coach Knute Rockne). |
Sounds good, Sage, best of luck! :)

I love your positive attitude,Thanks for sharing

Won't be posting exercise during the SEASON OF THE WITCH, although I'm doing it. Focusing only on the calories. I'm down .6 from yesterday, so that's a good thing. |
