Glad to see you back PinkPR. Happens to the best of us.

Looks like you're on the right track with the weight loss. Congrats.

Keep it up, dear! Welcome back.

Thank you. I'm struggling today but in a different way to how I thought-I have only had 956 calories and should have 1640 and I'm just not hungry. I gave up drinking diet coke and suddenly I'm not as hungry as I always was.I'm planning to have some fruit in a minute but what else should I have? It's 7:25pm here so I only have a few hours, 3 at most, before I go to bed.

You've probably already gone to bed, PRP, but it's okay to occasionally have low-cal days if you're really not hungry. Of course, if the issue persists, you might want to add in healthy fats (nuts, avocado) to up your totals. But good on you for listening to your body and honoring your hunger cues (or lack thereof!)

You need to find support where ever you can find it. I can easily see lots of support on this forum, and think that not posting here will be a loss for everyone.

Grats on the weight loss, every pound is difficult to achieve, and should be celebrated (although not with cake and ice cream ;-).

Hope you stick around.

Welcome back and i agree with sid. It doesn't matter if you are not actually hungry. I have the odd day like that. And not feeling well can affect you that way too. Just keep the fluids up.

I think so long as the food is nutritious, you can eat what you want to boost your calories. With fruit, i often like to eat it with half a cup of natural unsweetened yoghurt.

On a tv show i was watching recently about how we all got so far, they were talking about how the industry guys decided to start increasing portion sizes because they realised they could make a lot more money that way, they said that in a big sized coke that you could buy at the movies and wherever, there were 50 teaspoons of sugar. Imagine! And think how great it is for your body not to be drinking that that crap anymore.

I congratulated you the very next morning on our 40s weigh in thread when you posted you lost 10. You aren't being overlooked! :)

Hi PinkPowerRanger71! Congratulations on your weight loss journey and your 10 lb. weight loss success! I didn't see your post, I mostly stick to the Daily Calorie post and have dabbled in a few others. I don't know if you use myfitnesspal but my name is the same on both sites, feel free to add me. It is hard going it alone, we're all here for moral support for me the hardest is when people who see me regularly don't acknowledge my weight loss efforts.

I hope you stay with the site, and I look forward to all of us achieving our goals. <3

I did end up having some fruit in the end-my daughter has developed a love of chopping fruit and making a fruit salad(she's trying to lose a few pounds too),so I had a bowl of mixed fruit. The kids are liking the amount of fruit we have these days instead of chocolate and snacks.
I like recipe function in mfp-makes it so much easier to make sure the calories are exact.

Hi Pink. I promise you that throughout the years this site has given me a ton of support. I know what it is like to feel unsupported. I think most of us do and it's why we come here to share our stories with people going through something familiar to ours. Congrats on your 10lbs weight loss. That is absolutely amazing and motivates me to do better. I am looking forward to reading about your success. Take care!! :)

I didn't see it, I wish I had the hours in the day to respond to and encourage everyone, but unfortunately a busy schedule makes it such that many days I can't find the time to post anything at all. CONGRATULATIONS on your big whoosh! 10 lbs is awesome!

Late to the party, but congrats on the 10 lbs
