CalCounter Well done!!!! We're all so proud of you!

I'm down to a new low of 179.3 today! I always weigh less on a Saturday because I weigh in later than other days, but I recorded it because I needed the boost!
Keeping my calories low today because I'm going out for a few drinks tonight.
I am still only down 3.7lbs overall in Feb which is really disappointing.. I hoped to make 6lbs by the end of the month but I don't think I'm going to get there.

I currently feel like January was a massive success, Feb has been a bit of settling in with a few slip ups and I feel I'm ready for March to be a huge success
Big party on the 7th March and I'm going to buy a new dress for it, I wonder what size it'll be... I usually get a 16 (UK) recently but I wonder if I might get into a 14?
We shall see!

Hope everyone's having a relaxing Saturday xx

Morning all! Whew! That was a busy week!

I had two work related functions that involved food this week. A lunch meeting with pizza and salad. I only had the salad, which was pretty healthy..none of those "extras". And a dinner last night, where I had...you guessed it...salad. But that salad had lots of "extras", so I'm unsure about the calories. I brought home leftover chicken from the dinner and had 2 chicken breasts around 9m , but I needed the protein.

So around 1440 cals for the day. And I'm back down to my ticker weight. yay!

Yay Calcounter! meeting goal! wow! just great. And NewKate, you still have time to work on that lower size! Don't give up on February yet!

NewKate - I always lose like that too. One big week followed by one or two where I just hold steady. Just stabilizing at the new low weight, I guess.

Very slightly over for me last night - 2036. Weight is down a bit this morning, though, and I just got back from the gym for the first time in almost a week, so I Feel awesome.

1978 - perfect! And nice and low today. I'm tempted to lower my calories to 1800 or so to lose a bit faster (losing about a pound a week now, steady but slooow), but I don't really want to jeopardize my milk supply or leave myself with nowhere to go in case of a plateau. Sigh. Decisions, decisions.

Congratulations CalCounter

1160 Calories for yesterday. Well I reset my ticker to reflect my current weight as well as to lower my goal. 130 was really just a mini goal anyway. I've also been re-thinking my strategy for losing weight (cause the old one has stopped working ) I'm going to lower my calories and start exercising 5 days a week. March has got to be better than February! I agree with those who say that the scale can effect your mood. It sure does mine but I'm moving on! Tomorrow is a new day (thank goodness )

2/22:1538/2000
2/23: 1835/2000 (Today would have been better but I did enjoy a piece of 500 calorie cheesecake! And figure I had the calories to use so why not!)

Got out and got a walk in today also that I have not done in a VERY long time. Hope to do a lot more of that. I keep a log on the runtastic app, but have decided that the calories burn will be just that. I will not add them to my food journal so I can eat extra.

hey guys I'm new here. I normally diet on a very low calorie diet. normally at 1000 or below trying to lose a pound a day and then cheat on my weekends. but, that can kill you. Any advice on where I should start on the calorie limits. I want to lose between 1-2 pds if not 3 a week.

Welcome CC....and if you figure out how to lose 2-3lb/wk, please let me know the secret! SOMEbody please tell me the secret!!

735cals today and I think I'll stop there. The averages for the week, month and since Dec 1 are all around 1050cals. Only 1.3lb per week lost since Jan 1. On Jan 1, I added alcohol to my list of prohibitions which already included potatoes, rice, bread, and pasta, along with the usual NoNos.

Tonight, I'm going to start tracking measurements. Maybe I will see better progress that way.

I popped in this morning on my ipad with a quick congrats, but now I'm on my computer so I can access all my stats.

I've had one heck of a 12 days. Dropped two pounds from 154 to 152 then got stuck there for 5 days. Then after V-day weekend I went up 3.8 lb!!!!! And I've spent the last week trying to get it off.

This morning I was finally, not only back to 152, but past it - scales said 151.2 this morning. 1.2 lb off a healthy BMI, which is 150! Mind you I'm sure that when I first started losing weight back in 2006, a healthy BMI was 24 or under, not 25 or under, which was 144. Wonder when that changed.

I can't wait to see the 140s though - I tried on a skirt this morning that I thought was a UK size 10 (US 6) and was disappointed to find it was still a little tight around the waist, although it fastened but then when I looked at the label it was actually a size 8!! But I can't kid myself I'm a size 8. My size 12 jeans fit perfectly and my size 10 stuff is all a little tight yet - I think that one skirt must just be loose-fitting. But it's not far off - and I have some lovely summer stuff in a size 8 and 10 which will fit by summer.

Cals yesterday: 1105
7da: 1071 cals, 4.93 miles, 11611 steps
30da: 1219, 5 miles, 11931 steps
Weight lost: 17.2 lb - average 2.23 per week

1468 for Calories yesderday. I've hid the scale, I'm just going to keep the 1500 calorie goal and exercise a minimum of 5 days a week. Scale be damned (you know I'll pull it out, but I'm going to try not to)

Happy Monday.
