These are my goals and how it's going:
My goals for this challenge are: 1. Eat no more than 1800 calories daily. Yes done great with this usually 1400. 2. Do my Walk DVD at least 5 times a week - 45 minutes. Yes! For the first time in 23 years I've been exercising! Doing the Leslie Sansome DvDs 3. Fit into a certain pair of pants in my closet. I can get them on and button them now but couldn't possibly wear them out. I wore them on Friday to work! NSV: Avoid all goodies in the teacher's lounge (starting back next week). Been good here as well. I have lost 19 since July 7. This is very fast I know, but I gained about 20 from Jan to June. I think my nick name should be yo yo. |
I'm going to be pushing through this week. I'm 1/2 inch from goal...I checked today even though I said I would wait until the 8th.

Just checking on everyone. How's it going? I was thinking we could do a Halloween Challenge after this one ends on Friday...What do you all think?

Sure, I'm up for whatever. I'm already involved in a Halloween challenge and it seems like it's a motivating holiday!
I've avoided actually counting my calories the past couple days (I'll add it up at the end of the day or will pack a bunch of stuff and list what it is on a piece of paper so that if I want to go back and figure out calories on what I ate I can).....and I've eaten less than i usually do (I haven't been thinking about food as much. Like today, I ate 780 calories from 7am-5pm instead of my usual 1,000-1,100) and losing the same, if not a little more weight. I love the freedom (although I know it can get me into BIG trouble) so thought I'd do this off and on as long as I know it's not causing me to eat more or the weightloss to stall. |

This has been a great four weeks. Now it's time to head into the fall. This challenge is officially closed. I missed my goal by a fourth an inch. But I made some progress.
