What was your cal intake?

So I'm counting cals. I started at 219 and 1350 cals. Losing over a lb a week. Then my TOM came then I went up 5lbs overnight!! Took 5 days to get back to my per-TOM weight. I'm now at 207.8 and before it seems that the lbs were melting off, not so much now. I looked up my suggested calories and it varies so much. I was wondering if anyone was near my weight, what's your allowance?

Oh btw light activity (30 mins cardio 4x a week)

I weigh slightly more- 228, and I average 1800-2000 calories. Slightly less on low activity days, slightly more on high activity days. That means I'm eating to my BMR & my weight loss is from my activity. This is the first time I've been able to stick with it, and this is the easiest weight loss has been for me. I'm averaging 2 lbs per week.

You will lose weight faster when you first start. I was rocken the weight loss. Now 4 months in it has slowed. I am 5'8 223 and I eat around 1500-1700 calories a day. I have had to cut out my exercise because DD is sick. When I go back to the gym I will up it to 1700-190 calories a day.

You may need to increase your water intake for TOM water gain. Keep on track and it will come off. It just gets frustrating when you plateau. 1300 seems low to me but you are 5ft. Try and find your BMR and eat at least above that. You can find you TDEE and cut 20-30% off that. Google those and there is a lot of info.

I thought ur BMR is what u eat to maintain your weight.... Mine ranges from 1500-2300 depending on the site I check.

Bmr is the calories your body uses to function, this doesn't include any activity. Tdee is the amount you burn including all activity & is the amount you'd use for maintenance

Looks like you lost, what 11lbs since october? Has it been one month or two since you started? You need to pay attention to the larger trends rather than the daily or even weekly. 8-10lbs in a month is a fast pace.
