120 lbs!!
https://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos...66598699_n.jpg
One year ago today I decided that I wanted to have gastric bypass surgery, I went to the first doctors appointment and kept putting off going to the next consultation for it because I was scared, but knew there was no way I could do this on my own... I didn't want to wait the 6 months required by insurance to have the surgery I wanted it done that day! I wanted instant results. I put it off until January 1st (6 whole months!) and made the decision that I could do this on my own. I got myself to the point I was at and it was my job to get myself out of it. On January 1st I stepped on the scale and saw the worst number of my life. 294.4lbs. I was less than 6lbs away from being 300lbs!!! This morning...1 year after deciding to have gastric bypass surgery, and 6 months after deciding against it and starting this on my own I stepped on the scale to see 174.4. 120 lbs lost. In 6 months. On my own. I would still love to lose another 20 lbs... and a tummy tuck is for sure in my future, but I am so happy and so proud of myself and soooo looking forward to giving myself a LITTLE slack!!! I guess the point of this post is to stop putting it off... whatever you are putting off, just stop it. Right now, not tomorrow, not in 6 months. Do it today, because if you don't, you're going to wish you did in 6 months!! |

I used to be fully supportive of cheat days, and while I still have them it's obvious here what really sticking to a plan hardcore can do. |
