I am up on the scale this morning too to 198... This must be mid-cycle bloat b/c nothing else makes sense.

It's was creeping down, then just turned and started creeping back up. I'm thinking ovulation bloat, darn hormone surges...just gotta keep on plan and wait it out.

Down another couple of pounds. Sometimes I see the results and get really excited & optimistic about my progress. Other days I dwell on how far I've still got to go. Today is definitely a 'other' day, but I'm trying not to let it get me down.

It took years of neglect and overindulgence to reach this point, I have to expect it'll take some time to undo it. So this weekend I'll work on staying positive and on task. Hopefully you all will do the same.

See you next week!

fatbottomed girl, Thanks for posting the above. It's just what I needed to read.

My weight has gone up and down all week and it's really messing with my head. Today I got back to being extra careful with the content of my food, not just the calories.

Even if you don't feel excited right now, you are doing fabulous on these challenges!

That's great - you'll be back in shape in not time!

I lost 1.2 lbs - not great, but I'll definitely take it! It's been a week of trying to get the balance between eating enough to exercise effectively but not so much that my weight loss stalls, so I wasn't expecting a great loss.

It was this week that I really began to feel the grip food used to have on me loosening. Now, when I think about eating, I am suddenly thinking "what can I eat that will give my body the right fuel at the right time?" rather than "what can I eat that will make me feel better emotionally right now?" That's not to say I don't enjoy my food, though

Isn't that an amazing feeling??? Knowing you don't need that pizza or cake and you can say no?? Eat to live, don't live to eat!! Proud of you!

I am up on the scale. Between stress, tom, amd workouts its no surprise but still I think I will give it until the end of the challenge before I change my ticker. I hope everyone is doing good and having a wonderful summer!

No sad faces allowed!
You have come so far and lost so much!! Celebrate the success you've had so far and don't let a little regain discourage you!! Just keep on truckin'! Besides, there 11 days left in the month!
