Assumig to not believe the assumption.
Hey everyone!
Does anyone else use myfitnesspal?? I use it to count calories, obviously. When I press "complete day" it gives an estimated weight of what you will be in five weeks. I was just curious as to how accurate that weight is. :) |
really? no one?

Your first post was made at 4am Central Time. Not many people in the US reading the boards at that time.
To answer your question, I do not use myfitnesspal but I would guess that the estimated weight is just a mathematical equation, calculating a certain calorie deficit over time is equal to a certain amount of weight loss. |
I don't use the myfitnesspal thing, but a friend of mine uses it or something similar and she says that the weight isn't accurate. Too many other factors play a part like where you are in your cycle if you're a woman, sodium, water, etc. It's just a mathematical equation that should give a guideline, but isn't set in stone.

I use Weight Commander which has a similar estimated weight thingy and I think it's going to be way off the mark. We'll see. ;)
