Jigglefree: Congrats! It is SO exciting to have clothes that are either fitting well or too big from last year! Last night I wore a dress that last summer was too tight to wear. It's such a great feeling!! :carrot:
Today I weighed in at 149.4 which is the lowest in a while. I've been fluctuating between 150 and 151, so 149 is cool! I don't believe that I'll make it to 147 by Saturday, but I've made good progress! I think my body is getting to a point where it's taking a while to go down, which is fine. I still eat what I want, I eat more than I should most days, but I still stay on track and loose so I'm happy! As far as exercising, this week and probably the next week or 2 are going to be taking it easy. My ankle was hurt from running outside too much too soon and now my right knee is causing some issues. I hurt my right knee snowboarding about 8 years ago to the point that I had a little nerve damage. The last couple of days I've been "feeling" the spot where I had damage, so I've been limiting myself to the elliptical and arm exercises. I may also go see my chiropractor and possibly a massage therapist depending on how long it lasts. If I'd known how bad that injury would hurt me 8 years from then, I wouldn't have done it! :( In the next couple days I do plan to get my fat % measured since it's been a couple of months and I think it's gone down. Anyhow, Later chickies! :carrot: |
Double post! :carrot:

stimkovs and tdiprincess- You guys have come so far, it's only natural for things to slow down. It's actually good IMO that you're eating more than you were at loss levels. You're moving on to the maintenance phase so you should be eating more. And how great is it that you're still slowly losing too? That means you've built lean muscle mass and your metabolisms are fired up running on all cylinders. You're reaping the rewards of your increased fitness. :carrot:
jigglefree- That is exciting. It's very validating to see proof that your hard work is paying off. Wear that dress with pride! jmfan317-I am sorry to hear about your loss! It is so hard to lose loved ones. It's a real tribute to them when we take care of ourselves and live our own lives to the fullest. They would want that for us so keep taking care of yourself. too big- Hope you are doing well. Update us when you can. Sparklebe-Our bodies seem to have a mind of their own. We can't rush things and sometimes we need to step back from the scale. You can't live under constant pressure from the scale and really you shouldn't b/c they don't always tell the whole truth. I weighed in this morning at 195.6, so I am just inside my goal. I set my goal for 1.25 pounds per week of this challenge and I have been working my butt off to lose it. I am glad I didn't set it any higher but I had great loss last challenge so I knew it was bound to slow down a bit. My average is actually 1 pound loss per week. That seems so slow to me but it's better than gaining and I seem to really be able to see on my body every pound that goes away now. :) |
hey ladies!! i hope everyone is doing well in their last week of the challenge.
i will not be making goal- but i will be coming pretty damn close to the big 1-0-0 again. this morning was 172.2 but (TMI) im in TOM season, and white knuckling. hopefully will have a nice little drop, but i've also upped my calories to just below maintenance- so keeping steady is okay too as i am working on re-integrating "real" foods, and meals out and stuff and not blowing the day by eating out. here is another test coming up, there's a really cute burger place across the street from my house. it's been open for about a year, and i hear amazing reviews all the time. these are home made burgers and i am going to do dinner there and a movie with one of my girlfriends tomorrow. they do have a 4oz burger, i calculated the burger with a bun as 440 calories + codiments, give/take i am counting it as 500 calories + a value size fries/split a value size fries with my friend (this is smaller then a small from what i can tell) i am counting it to be a approximately 600 calorie meal. edit: there is no salad option + we are going to the movies, which is going to lead to sugar free-fat free frozen yogurt(most likely) ha ha. which means i need to have atleast 800-900 calories saved up for the evening. given that i am eating 1700(ish) a day, this isn't a huge issue. might just be a little ravenous in yoga. low-cal high volume lunch it is!! then saturday. oh saturday. st patricks day. this is going to be a boozy derail. i'm not even coming up with a plan, but keep your fingers crossed! |
I just did wrkout 4. I added the biggest loser cardio max as a extra wrkout 2day. I did the warm up lv 2 with Jillian and the cool down. It was 20 mins total. 2mrw is cardio 1 wrkout and I'm guna do cardio max as a extra wrkout 2mrw since I'm goin 2 dinner that nite with my friends since I'm turnin 26.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY! :goldpot:
Well we've reached the end of our challenge. I don't know what it is about the final day of challenges but for the last two I've had last minute whooshes. I weighed in at 193.8 this morning! I was not expecting that! :irish: Thanks to all of my fellow challengers! Your support and encouragement helps me keep focus on my goals and I hope I return the favor in kind. I am excited to see how everyone else fared during our challenge! :kissluck: If you guys want to set up another challenge, I'm in....it might be with my little 1.25 pound a week goal, but I am in. :) |
Hope everyone did good on their challenge goals. I lost track of mine. But all things considered I am doing ok. We are back from working out of town and I weighed in at 179 this morning.

I hope everyone had a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day!
I didn’t end up making my weight goal for the challenge, but I mostly stayed OP and met my exercise goals, so I’m counting it as a success. I can’t force my body to lose more than it wants to, and right now it does not want to lose ;) Looking forward to the next challenge! 4star: Congrats on whooshing right on past your goal!! :woohoo: Toobig: I’m glad you’re back, and a couple lbs down from your ticker weight. Yay! |
Thanks Sparklebe! I set my goal a little low b/c I had been stuck trying to get over the hump for a while. Sometimes you have to be ok with not losing a lot to keep you your motivation. If I am eating well and exercising, the rest is just a matter of time til the body catches up. That's probably what's going on with you too. The smaller I get, the more unpredictable the loss tends to be. But as a friend told me once, every pound is a victory.
Too big, you're still ticking on down and that's really good when things have been crazy! :carrot: |
Hi all! I hope the challenge went well for everyone!
I did run 4 miles straight! yay! I did go down in weight, not much, but some! I started out around 151-152 range and ended at the 149-150 range which is good! See ya'll for the next challenge! :carrot: |
