What do y'all think?

At the beginning of my journey I had decided that my goal weight would be 120 pounds. I have never been real curvy-mainly thin with a booty:) I have been 110 pounds through high school and for a while after I graduated. When I started dating my husband and when we got engaged, and finally married, I gained up to about 140 pounds. So, I thought losing 20 pounds would be good; but, in the back of my mind I've always wanted to see 110 on the scale again. It's like that weight that I think I can never get back to. I want to prove that I can get back there. When I was 110 pounds, I felt fine. My pants never got too small. I never ran out of energy quickly, and my legs never rubbed together when I walked. I never had belly rolls and I felt better about myself. Everybody tells me "back then you were a girl-now you're a woman." What do y'all think?

I think that's probably pretty low. It would put your BMI at 18.9. Anything below 18.5 is considered underweight.

I think 120 sounds like a good goal.

We can't see you so we can't tell how'd you look at 120 vs. 110. Aim for 120 and see how you feel when you get there. It is a good bet that your body has changed since high school though, and that what made sense then won't now.

Also, please keep in mind that losing weight won't make you a teenager again. Those days are gone. Your energy levels won't likely be the same, and your body won't be the same either. The price of growing up.

I can totally relate! I'm now at my lowest weight as an adult, hovering between 127-129, and my pants waistband no longer bothers me, I have a ton of energy, and I look the best I have in my entire life. I'm 3" taller than you but have an athletic build - small breasts, proportional waist/hips. 110 could work for you, but so could 115 if you're more muscular.
Congratulations on your success thus far!

It's funny because I was 127-130lbs at my "skinniest" and i'm about your height. And I don't think I could ever even get back to that. (although I would LOVE to) I couldn't even imagine 110lbs. BUT, I have a slightly muscular build with medium-large frame. That's the big difference i'm sure. I agree with everyone else, just keep losing until you feel comfortable with yourself. I have had 3 children so my body is SO different than when I was in the 120's. That's why my goal is higher right now. Bottom line I guess is, i'm sure you could go for it and try to get back to 110. You would probably feel so awesome to prove that to yourself. But, stop along the way if you think you need to. ;) Good luck!

One step at a time. You might be happy at a higher weight. As impossible as it is to do, the healthiest approach is to not equate satisfaction or happiness with a specific number.

120 honestly looks nice on most people who are 5'4, though if you're really small-boned you might want to go lower if a super low-fat body is your goal. Diet is key for weight loss but I really recommend getting into pushups or strength training so you actually change your shape.

Thank y'all for the advice. I think I'm going to get to 120 and see if that's good, and if I don't like it, I'll try 115, and if I'm not satisfied I'll try 110. I'll see where I look and feel best.
