Default Proud of myself

Ok so today is only day 2 and I shouldn't get too excited but I am proud of myself. I can never stick to anything, I have no self control and cave to eat anything. Well last night my daughter had dance class and we always go to mcdonalds afterwards. I will always get at least a rootbeer or something but this time I got NOTHING. I stuck my hand in her bag to steal some fries and yelled at myself. 7:00 came last night and I headed straight up the steps for the night. I felt hungry around 9 but I just kept thinking if I want to get healthy I have to fight it.

I am trying to stay positive. I've been trying some new recipes, posting on my blog, just trying to talk more about it this time since I found this forum so I am held more accountable then all the other times.

If any of you feel like reading my blog PLEASE do.. I would love to get some feedback and I am also posting all the yummy recipes I try on there and so far there are 2 lol

I am very new here yet but thank you all already for the support and encouragement!

Good job! The smell of McDonalds is intoxicating I know. lol

(meanwhile a plain sundae is a great summer treat for less than 150 calories, I love their ice cream, saying plain sundae confuses them less than when I used to say 'ice cream cone in a cup' lol)

I will check out your blog!

Thanks girls!!! I found myself resisting alot already in just 2 days. I never realized much I caved in on things. Also I realize I used to eat late at night all the time. My husband is a trucker and gets home 9 or later every night so I would come down and heat his dinner and then I would have a bowl of cereal or something. Last night I came down and heated his dinner and my daughter was still up and wanted cereal so I got it for her and told my husband to bring her up to bed when he comes up and I went upstairs. It was killing me. My stomach was growling and I felt so hungry but I knew I could not eat anything that late! So I got away from the temptation and just went to bed LOL

Great job resisting!! My husband works odd hours, and it was so tough to not eat when I was preparing his food at first, but it gets easier to tell yourself no. You're doing awesome!
