Totally know what you mean! I've been counting only a few weeks, but I was JUST commenting to someone how I couldn't believe that I actually enjoy it. It's like a puzzle ("If I add this, might I have to cut back on something else? How much?, etc.")
Also, I agree, what a difference in making me aware of what and how much I'm putting in my body. Getting portion control I'm comfortable with is more my focus than weight loss (though I'm loving that, too!) Yay for calorie counting. |
I am going to start counting calories myself. I'm kinda scared, because one of the reason's I joined Diet to go was because I seem to run out of ideas for things to eat. Then I'd get bored. In addition, It's just me and my 17yr old son. I wonder how to make meals with variety without wasting food. Any suggestions?
Congrats to everyone on their success thus far. |

And I eat a lot of veggies with dinner, too. I'm a creature of habit, so I'm lucky that I don't get bored with food very often. |
