I know, I know... Alcohol is a no no if you are dieting. An occasional after work drink is something I really look forward to. I usually have one, sometimes two drinks. Never more than that. I don't drink daily.
Any ideas, strategies on how to deal with alcohol when trying to lose weight. I would really feel hard done by if I couldn't have "just one". How are the drinkers out there coping?


I used to drink one or the other almost every other night before Christmas, and when I started calorie counting I just nixed them. I've had two alcoholic drinks since January 1st and it actually doesn't bother me not to drink as much...it was really more of a habit and one that was easily broken. But, I do know the days that I really need a drink, and that's when I've had my white russians!
Therefore I haven't had one drink since I started my journey to get fit and healthy.
