Sugar-Free Choc Pudding & Whipped Cream = sick?
I've been eating right for about 2-3 weeks now...low calorie/lowish carb...I've cut out all the refined stuff as much as possible...and no soda.
Earlier I got a sudden sweet tooth and decided to make me some Jello sugar-free chocolate pudding...I decided to have a cup which is only 120 calories and then added some light whipped topping... It was good, but I could only eat half of it...and then it make me so sick. I feel like someone stuck an airhose in me and blew my belly up. Not to mention the trip to the bathroom and I burped up that acidy taste in my mouth...(sorry for being gross!)... ....but has anyone else had that experience? I'm so disapointed, I thought I found a great alternative dessert. I don't think I'll be eating that again anytime soon. |
Never had that happen - and we have that often - I'll slice up a banana in a few cups and top with a little chocolate or banana ff/sf pudding and a dollop of cool whip light, or add vanilla pudding to cut strawberries, etc. it's an easy way to add in a little more dairy.

Did it have sugar alcohol in it? Sometimes that upsets my stomach.

I eat diet jello pudding and cool whip like its going out of style - no problems.
Any chance your lactose intolerant?? |
Jell-0 brand chocolate pudding has only 4 servings @ 70 calories each with fat free milk. (The cooked kind, not instant) We eat this brand of pudding most nights for a treat and never got sick from it. I like to top mine with 1/2 serving of dry Fiber One to up my daily fiber plus it tastes really delicious on top.
