I agree...INCREDIBLE!!!:o This is GROSS to me...and totally turns me off to eating out. I knew it was bad...but NOT this bad!:?:

Sigh....

I agree, yuck! I was looking at Ihop and they have so good choices. They have a Simple & Fit menu with some good options.

I have been doing a little research so I know what to choose when I do go out but, it sure is hard

I really think there needs to be a "sodium" sticky since it comes up so much. Fact is, as has been stated, any food that is preserved is going to have a higher sodium content than its fresh alternative. Restaurant foods have to last longer than you would think ergo they have a higher sodium content because of the sodium/water solution injected into them before freezing. Even your frozen chicken from Walmart has the solution (as does ever cut of meat you buy from Walmart if you read the labels). It's not like the restaurants are adding the salt, they buy the meat that way.

I have to admit, we probably don't watch our sodium as much as we should. We've cut back and made some changes (I actually dig NoSalt for cooking), but sodium often ends up seeming the lesser of the available evils in our eating habits.

I always liked their Grilled Shrimp n' Spinach Salad...but 940 calories? 2650 mg of sodium? It doesn't surprise me, and I never though it was particularly healthy (tasty, though), but damn.

Thanks for the link!

Well Im one of those that really don't care when it comes to eating out. Its a treat. I do notice after we eat crab legs I am thirsty all night and yep its the salt.

Weight Watchers® Chipotle Lime Chicken 500 cal 5250 sodium...
Oh man, that is my favorite thing to get...
I usually don't eat the salsa on top of the Chicken so that probably helps.
