So, I've been losing weight and seeing results eating 13 - 1600 calories a day. I weight everything meticulously and I exercise 5x's a week - brisk walking or jogging.
Now, something I've noticed is that IF I can keep my calories in the 11-1200, I feel better - its almost like my body enjoys having fewer calories and eating less. I eat whole foods, tons of fruits and veggies, so I'm not worried about vitamins. Basically, I sleep better and I have more energy when I'm on the low end.
Has anyone ever heard of people that calorie restrict to live longer? I dunno... I sort of understand why they do it. Does anyone else find that they function better on 1200 than 1500?
