Premixed Breakfast Shakes
 

Lately I've gotten into the habit of grabbing a EAS shake (one of the lower calorie ones) on my way out the door to replace either the commonly reoccurring "morning disaster" I was having (aka either grabbing a million calorie muffin mid morning or skipping breakfast altogether). But, they are a little expensive at 2.75 each at my local store.

Protein powder is significantly cheaper per serving and I was wondering if anyone here had any favorite brands that they like to mix with water. I figure a shaker cup, water, and a scoop of protein would be a budget friendly replacement for these.

I get designer whey in chocolate and mix it with frozen strawberries and water for a smoothie. It's great. Only 100 calories, I think 16 or 18 grams of protein, and only like 3 carbs.

Edited to add. It's usually 27.99 for a 2lb container and that has 34 servings. Sometimes it's on sale for 24.99 and I think you can get it online for cheaper some places.

Carnation Instant Breakfast with 8 oz of non fat milk. Sometimes I add a small banana and throught it all in the blender.

i just buy carnation instant breakfasts, you mix it with milk, it's like $7 and theres like 12 packages in the box
