way off :|
I need to find some motivation to get back on plan
I have been counting calories religiously for two weeks or so. Keeping it at or under 1200/day with some form of exercise dailly. I went away on a mini-vaca to a friends house for the weekend. Hardly gained (.6) & kept as close to plan as being not at home would allow. Then I get home Im ready to exercise and get back on my comfort plan and eh im sick :( So I totally let myself go with sick being an excuse.. I need to force myself back on track. How do you get back on after you've fallen?? |
I have an "inspiration wall" I am working on that has women who's shape I admire, articles about races I want to run one day, affirmative quotes and sayings and a printout of my measurement comparisons so that I can see what I have been doing up until now. And if all else fails, I come here and I hit the "Goal" section, where women have lost hundreds of pounds, normal women, without any surgery or gimmicks, just good 'ol math and persistence. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

You didn't really fall... looks like you did pretty well under the circumstances!
The rule I read is sick from the neck up, go exercise and you will feel better sick from the neck down, give your body some recovery days aside from that, put on your workout clothes down to the shoes, that's one less excuse |

If it seems too overwhelming to just jump right back into the calorie counting and exercising at the same time, maybe just do one? If you can keep your calorie count within your normal limits and then add the exercise back in once you're feeling more up to par :-) It's better than being off plan completely anyway! Good luck!
