android app suggestions?

I just got a new phone and am looking for suggestions for an app that I can use as a food journal.
1) I want one that does NOT require internet--sometimes my phone internet is wonky at work.
2) I don't need a food database, but if it has one, that's fine.
3) I'd like to be able to email my journal to myself once a month.
Any tips?
Thanks guys!

Well you're going to have a hard time finding an app that does not require an internet connection and if you have a smartphone, your internet capabilities should be connected to your mobile web, not a wifi hotspot.

Very few people get internet off their mobile web at my job--there is no wi-fi.

SparkPeople is a popular tracker app.

I think the app is called diet and fitness.

If you are on WW, I use an android app called WWpoints which is great.

Pretty much ignoring your criteria. The only one I've liked is by fat secret. It has a food database and it lets you use the bar code scanner to scan in things rather then typing. You don't have to be a member of the website and pretty sure you don't need to be online to use it. i think it called calorie counter. The website is fatsecret.com No idea about the emailing, but it does sync to the website.

Ditto Fat Secret. Awesome app: easy to use and makes it easy to lose!

I'm pretty sure you don't need wi-fi if you've got 3 or 4G coverage.

I LOVE this one. Just installed it a couple of days ago and especially love the barcode scanning feature. You can export your food diary to a pdf file and then email it to yourself. I know that is available from the daily food diary, but not sure how it would work doing it once a month.
