LiveStrong. Anyone use it?

I'm not really digging it... I'm giving it a try, though. It seems like the amount of calories I can eat in a day keeps changing itself when I go to the "calorie" goals plate. About an hour ago when I sent an e-mail out, it was 1, 240. Now it's 1,246? What's going on? Is there something easier? I usually track my calories manually but everyone's been saying such great things about this site I decided to try it.

A lot of people like sparkpeople but I found it to be overloaded with too much stuff that leads to many distractions. I switched to my fitness pal which has a clean look and so much easier to use. It does have phone applications as well.

I use my fitness plan as well, didn't have much success with spark or livestrong.
I really like the phone app... I was out doing errands yesterday and everything took longer than normal. I needed a snack and ducked into the grocery for one. I was able to plug in several different options to see how they affected my calorie/carb/fat/protein goals for the day to make the final decision!
The only thing I don't like is that if I log my workouts it "allows" me extra calories for it. I want my fitness to be bonus burn, not an excuse to eat above my calories.

I use Livestrong and I haven't had any of the issues that you are experiencing but I hope you can find something that works for you because I've loved being able to plug the numbers in and know exactly where I'm at.

I have been using Livestrong and like it!

webmd has a pretty cool food/fittness log.
it doesnt allow you to dip below a healthy caloric level, and takes exercise into account when calculating calories!
it even has this cute little tool called the "food/fitness o meter" that looks almost like a scale, the arrow begins at zero and moves and you put calories in.
ha kind an intresting twist on counting calories,
just another option :)

I use it and have never had any problem. Its easy for me to navigate and keeps track of foods "frequently eaten". I love using the Recipe part for when I make a meal at dinner.

I tried a few others, but they seemed to be too "busy". If that makes sense.

I've been using Livestrong since the beginning and I don't know what I would do without it. I love it!

if your weight is changing it changes your daily calories based on that. If you put in you want to lose 2lbs a week then it calculates how many calories you need to eat daily for that to happen, when your weight changes so do required calories. I just had to go in and adjust my 'per week' loss to match my calories again for the same reason.
