Calorie Tracking Website Recommendations?

I've read through here and found some ideas but just in case I've missed some, what are some good free calorie counting sites? I use The Lose It App and love it but my friend doesn't have an Iphone so I'm trying to help her find a site where she can find and record her calories.

Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I use caloriecount.com for a fast way to look up nutrition info.

mypyramidtracker.gov. I started using this even before trying to lose weight to get my fruit, veg, and dairy consumption up. Liked earning the smiley faces. Later when I started weight loss plan loved the ongoing average calorie deficit calculation.

I use caloriecount.com. They have several features I like such as:
- Lots of brands/specific products/restaurant menu items products in their food search
- You can add your own foods with the nutritional info
- Recipe analyzer to get nutritional info on recipes, and save them for later use
- Tag foods lets you conveniently add a group of foods to your log at once. I used to plug in every slice of tomato and tbsp of mayo when I had a turkey sandwich or something. I finally figured that I can tag all those items as "turkey sandwich" and just add that. Makes my life easier, lol.
- The analysis section gives you lots of comprehensive info about your calorie deficits and nutrients

I'm not a big fan of their community forum though. I run across too many posts by people who are asking if they'll get fat by eating more than 500 cal/day and such nonsense. I come here for my community support needs :)

I am a hardcore fan of sparkpeople.com lol

I just love the site itself, it has a great community (though I still like this site the best for that) and has really great tracking on weight & helping you set up what you need. You can add recipes or your own items. It lets you track a ton of stuff & you can set what you like to track. & it has alot of amazingly helpful articles and info.

caloriecount.about.com or sparkpeople.com, I like both for different reasons depending on my focus (I have a sp account for recipe calorie calculations)

CC is overall the winner now that they have upgraded their "daily report" thing.

Livestrong is awesome :)

Same here. Good, solid, well reasoned thoughts.

I use my two apps, and FitDay if my schedule gets hairy and I need preplanning help. At this point, I know my CCs, figure my meals easy enough, and put in my PDA as reference.
