New.

  • I'm new to this site ..been on here for about a week now. I have been calorie counting all week *had a few mess ups* but i've pick right back up the next meal and continued. I weighed in yesterday and had lost 1 lb since last Saturday. I really hope that my weight loss increases to 2 lbs a week so I can start losing more ..but if not 1 will have to do now! I will keep everyone updated on my progress.
  • YAY welcome to the club! It took me a few weeks to get the whole thing down as well. I had a bunch of days where I felt like I was going to starve! I started at 1200 calories a day but it just wasn't enough so I went up to 1400. Then there was some figuring out how much to eat when to make sure I felt full - especially before going to bed!
    Playing with different food ideas and trying new things helps too. I never new how much I like broccoli !

  • Hi! I'm pretty new here too but have found I love it. Eventually you will watch your friends and family begin to eat something and then will look at you and say, "I don't care how many calories are in this" because you will know EXACTLY how many calories are in it and be on the verge of telling them. My mom has begun to call me the 'Food ****' because of this!
