Hi there! I've been counting calories since Jan 10, lost about 12 lbs in 6 weeks and then stop counting... Gain around 4 lbs back and was there for about 4 months... then I went on vacation and came back to an stunning 152! So, I'm back at counting calories... hopefully this time will be the last one.
Now I'm at 148, but I really want to get back to the 130's and if I'm lucky see my all time goal of 125... I do around 1200-1400 cal a day, go to the gym 5 days a week (most weeks). My M-F are great, but my biggest problem are my weekends, since I can't stop myself... I'm trying to work on that :o Even with crazy weekends I still lose around 2lbs per week if I'm good during the week days, but I want to stop my weekend binging because I KNOW its not healthy! |
Hi Cieloarge! You can do it! Sounds like you have your plan all mapped out! Weekends are hard for everyone, I think it's the lack of structure:shrug:

Welcome! Weekends are really tough for most people. I recommend a plan for every meal starting on Friday night -- otherwise it is easy for the whole weekend to be a food fest! Sounds boring, but it will help you get control!

your plan sounds exactly like mine, except i do 1300 - 1800 cals on average. my weekends are ALWAYS killer - beer, fries, eating out, burger, no gym, you name it. I'll be working on that as well, maybe spacing out all the "bad" stuff during the week so I don't completely blow my healthy living on weekends.

Hi Lisa!! Your weekends sound just like mine!!! The funny part is that every Sunday night I end up feeling like crap, not just guilty, but my stomach hurts and I'm supper bloated... Even with all this I still do the same thing weekend after weekend!!! Need to seriously work on it!!! :dizzy:

The first weekend you make it through with all healthy meals you will feel SO awesome on Monday morning! It is worth the extra effort!
