Does the time you wake up affect your calories?
Okay so this isn't about counting calories itself but it has to do with it:
So when does the day 'start' and 'end'? Like today I woke up at one in the afternoon and besides that being horrible for my sleep-clock, would it affect how many calories I eat tomorrow? Like if I got up at 8:00 in the morning tomorrow and had breakfast, would I be eating for 'yesterday' instead of that day because I woke up so late and therefore my 'morning' is my 'evening'? Does anybody get what I'm saying? Sorry if this is like a dumb question but it's been bugging me. |
My "day" goes from wake up to sleep, regardless of the amount of time between the two.

I eat my goal amount of calories regardless of when I wake up. Of course, frequently if I sleep really late it means I'll be up basically all night, so I keep that in mind and try to space my calories for the day out so that I eat some during the later times I'm awake.

Okay thanks for the replies =].

It doesn't affect me. The thing is, I don't eat first thing when I wake up. And then I get busy so I kind of "forget" to eat. So if I get up at say 10, I literally won't eat till like 3 or 4, and at that time my mom is making dinner so I usually just eat dinner. Probably not the best thing to do but it's just my schedule. Other days, I could wake up at noon, and eat an hour later and be good till later on like say 7 or 8. Since I started watching what I've been eating and doing this whole portion control thing, I don't eat as much and get full off of little things so I don't eat as much because of that.
