I Am Also A Newbie
Hello All,
I am currently weening myself of Medifast. I have been on it of 2 weeks and am so violently hungry, that I get very nausus. My husband and I had the talk and said I should get to the old way of doing things...Count Calories... I am getting a Buddy Bugg, which I am so excited about. Slowly will be starting my exercising (DVD's, treadmill, maybe Zumba DVD's, working out at the reck center in our neighborhood). All I know is, I have never been so hungry and I mean truly hungry in all my life. I would rather spend my hard earned money on something more worth wild...Like rewarding myself when I hit my short goals that is more preductive in my healthy eating and exercise journey. My question: Do you all right down and journal everything you eat? I did a great jounal of eating on Excel. Please let me know. I use sticky notes at my desk and then throw them out. I dont ever stick with a jornnal.

Welcome Melsie! I CC and keep a paper journal which is also my exercise journal and daily to-do list. I also keep a Word document open on my computer and journal that way but I don't save the pages. Each night I copy the page into a 'support group' thread here at Chicks then just change it the next morning.

I do my planning on sparkpeople.com. Every day I wake, I go there and plan out my foods for the day and if on a rare occasion, I eat something not planned, I do go back in and add it. Good luck with your goals :hug: |
