Help! - Estimate the calories

I'm going out to dinner next Sunday at a place I love but seldom get to eat at (kinda pricey). I can (and will) make healthy choices from their menu and estimate the calories but there's one dish I know I will have and don't even know where to begin on estimating the calories.

From their menu:
Mock Eel
Braised shiitake mushrooms in a ginger sauce. a delightful, crispy flavor and texture.

You can see what they look like (in case that helps with the guessing) at http://asinglepebble.com/links.htm

I doubt I'll get a whole cup (have to share) but I was trying to guess the calories in a cup. I don't need an exact count, I'm fine with making an educated guessing and rounding up a bit.

I would love help from the experts here. Please!

Just google "mock eel recipe" and figure out the nutrition from there.

Here's one...

Wow, that's an easy recipe. Too bad it's not all that healthy. I think I'll stick to my mock eel as a special eating out treat.

I'm not sure how to figure the calories once the mushrooms are fried.

Is it reasonable to use a potato as a comparison - 3 oz of raw potato is about 60 calories while 3 oz of boardwalk fries is 120. So if a cup of mushrooms is about 100 is it reasonable to estimate they are twice that once fried?
