raw potatoes
 

Ok I love eating raw potatoes actually I like potatoes any way. But since I am new at this can it hurt to eat raw potatoes sliced up with a little salt and how do I know how many calories are in it?

Huh. I always thought raw potatoes were poisonous. Guess not.

Anyway, I'm sure the calories raw are essentially the same as boiled.

I googled and this is what I found.

A raw potato is not poisonous

However, if a potato is exposed to light, it takes on a green coloration - which in itself is poisonous in large quantities. You want to make sure the taters are stored out of direct sunlight in a cool place.

I too enjoy raw potatoes, I just usually count it as a boiled potato.

And no raw potatoes are not poisonous, the plants are, and you are not supposed to eat any green areas of a potato.

i had no idea that people eat raw potatoes. i've tasted it raw before out of curiosity but i had no clue this was common.
