Default I'm new, and I have had success counting cals before!

I once lost forty pounds counting calories and paying attention to portion size. Then I had twins! lol I recentlty stoped breast feeding and am ready to get back in the swing of things.

I was wondering, what kind of tools do you guys used to keep track? I used to just use paper, then I switched to spark people.

I use The Daily Plate. When I first started out I had my own spreadsheet.

Welcome!

I use fitday. It works well for me, but this is my first time calorie counting so I have not checked others out there.

Welcome!! I use fitday but really like livestrong. I would switch but I feel like 2 weeks of food input in fitday is too much to switch over or lose. lol

Good luck with your weight loss! This is a great site! =)

Well. you really have your hands full. I am a calorie counter, too. I use the trusty pen and paper method , mainly because I can do it anytime anywhere. Do what works best for you.

I write it down in my little book. That way I can keep it in my purse and take it wherever I go.

I plan a day ahead using good ol' school paper in a 3-ring binder. Gives me something to do with my hands besides eat.

I like using the paper and pen method too. I can carry my little notebook with me and I also write other things in it like grocery lists and poems.

Yeah I really do like paper, I will probably end up keeping some sort of notebook to carry around with me and then transfer it to some thing fancier ^^
